La Perla 2010 Swimwear, Swimsuits and Bikinis

In 1954 Ada Masotti, an artisan skilled in the tradition of hand crafted Bolognese corsetry opened a lingerie boutique in Bologna. The name "La Perla" was inspired by the jewelers case lined with red velvet in with the first creations were transported. After many years of success in the lingerie industry, La Perla entered the world of swimwear with La Perla Beachwear in 1971. La Perla Beachwear combines charming aesthetics with a continued search for new designs and constant inspiration from Haute Couture. In 1978 a second swimwear collection, AnnaClub, was created to offer a classic beachwear collection for those who want to feel both elegant and body confident. 1991 marks the first year La Perla boutiques were opened in the heart of the international fashion capitals, Milan and Paris.
